easter subway art

I couldn't wait to post this...
I've been looking for some easter subway art and didn't find
one focused just on Jesus with more of a vintage feel.

So I decided to make one.

And I'm making it free for you (just click on free) to print and share with friends.
If you do take it or share it, would you mind letting me know.
I'd love to hear or see how you used this in your Easter display.

***UPDATE 3.24.13*** ADDITIONAL COLORS have been added in the google docs.
You asked, and it wasn't hard to adjust so feel free to download in red, purple or sepia too!

Mine will go on my mantle tomorrow... pics will follow soon!

And if you have questions when you get to google docs, let me know.
Click on the color you'd like, go to file and then download to your computer.
Then you can print at home or take it in to be professionally printed.

Happy Easter everyone.  Let me know if there's another color you'd like and I'll work on it!
I love the joy of knowing He has conquered the grave!

If you're interested in purchasing some of my other scripture art for a friend or yourself
USE THE CODE SPRING SAVINGS FOR 20% off, now until March 31st.
Happy Easter Everyone!

I love this because it's my faith and the whole Easter story in a nutshell! It's like a really pretty mission statement :). I will share it on my blog and put it on my refrigerator or mantle.

Thanks; I like it. My mind has been discombobulated lately with too many things to do. So, I'll print this to put on my refrigerator to remind me (and family). Perhaps I'll bring it to my school too . . . . thanks!

I wish I could personally reply to each of your comments, but some don't have links. I just wanted to say thanks for your kind words and encouragement. Most of all I'm so grateful to think of all the places and ways it will be used to point us all back to the cross and this amazing gift we've been given in Christ! Happy Easter everyone!

Jackie, thank you so much, your artwork is lovely, what you are doing is perfect.
The freebie of Easter subway art is wonderful, I have printed 2 in blue, one for each of my boys to put up on their bedroom wall. They are 12 & 14.

God's love & blessings to you and your family this Easter season.

Beautiful! ~Thank you~ We don't have a color printer, so I just printed it in black and white on an ivory cardstock. I may try to burn around the edges or crumple it, tea dye it and press it flat again.

Love this! What pretty Easter cards this would be!

OK, I LOVE this. :) However... and I hesitate to even write this but I would want someone to tell me so... Hallelujah is spelled wrong. :( Sorry to be anal. I'm just one of those people who is anal and annoying about spelling ('your' instead of 'you're' drives me CRAZY!) so my eye keeps getting drawn to that one word. But the poster is absolutely beautiful and creative and so well done. Thanks for posting it!

Oh goodness... Just realized you mean there are two l's first not second. Thanks so much for letting me know. I didn't catch that. So later when I'm home I'll make a new version and put it up. So sorry and thanks for letting me know.

What a gift! My husband and I lead Sunday School opening exercises and will be doing a simple craft with as many as 90 children. I am using 8x10 canvas boards and strips of scrapbook paper to make Easter plaques which will be given to the big people at the service which follows.
My next task was to produce the text to go on the strips..some verses, maybe different fonts? I hopped on to A Holy Experience to get inspired for Monday, and lo and behold, there was the link to your beautiful subway art! Thank you for the gift of time. The children of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Center City Philadelphia will spread your glorifying design throughout the Delaware Valley. Praise Be!! spectacleograce.blogspot.com

Thank you SO MUCH for this beautiful artwork you have shared! It means a great deal to me to have it on our mantle as a reminder of what this Holy Week is about. I have printed two out and framed them to give to my sister and sister in law who have just had babies, to encourage them this Easter, as they are laid up at home. And I posted about it on my blog. Thank you!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE hearing all the places and ways this printable will be used. Thanks so much for sharing. And Christy, I so totally remember those days where it was 4:00 and you hadn't showered you were so busy, but you couldn't really explain what it was you did the whole day. Bless you for sharing this as an encouraging gift for them. That is so sweet.

Thanks Jackie! I had been looking for ideas to stay focused on the real reason for the season. This is perfect! I'm having 16 guests for Easter, so I am printing 4 to a page (in the pink, orange, teal and blue), so I get a smaller version and can place one at each place setting.

RHome410 said...

I will link this on Facebook and share also on my blog. Wonderful! And just where our focus belongs.

Anonymous said...

Thank you! Purple might be nice :) I am printing out the teal for now. I may try to hand smaller versions out to people as I go about my week till Easter :) & I will hang a big one in a frame in my home as a wonderful reminder that Jesus is indeed ALIVE!!! :)

Thank you so much! I would love to print out copies of these to send to my family members to share the Easter message.

Love this! Will share on fb and have printed professionally, maybe even on a canvas. One problem though, can't decide which color I like best ♡

Jackie said...

Oh anonymous that's awesome. I hope you see this since I can't reply personally to you. Once you go into google docs you'll see there is also a sepia version offered, but not shown in this post.

Jackie said...

I don't know if there's any way for the previous anonymous poster to see this, but just in case PURPLE is now added to the color choices, as is Red. I'll post about it on facebook in a minute.
